[New landmass WIP] The World's End

This is a current mod I am working on to add a new landmass for fallout 4, set on the island on Nantucket. The island receives heavy radiation in coastal regions due to the irradiated ocean, however legends say that inland areas are untouched by the radiation, and contain isolated communities.

Explore the Island and its vault, and pick a side to resolve a growing conflict between the vault dwellers and the residents of the island, who have been pushed back to a small shanty town known as "worlds end", as each side has their own dark secrets and motives.

Anyway, given the current progress, I would greatly appreciate any form of feedback and suggestions for what you'd like to see from the mod!

In reply to when you should post this mod. It will depend on 2 things:

1. If you would like some feedback from beta testers before the final release then you should post it early and ask for critique. You will have to sort through the feedback to see what is real and what is "user error" but you will get feedback. This will be the slow methodical build up to a finished product.

2. If you would like to make a "splash" and strike while the iron is hot thought process, then you should wait until in your mind the mod could be finished. When mods are first posted that is when the most buzz happens, and when the most activity is in play. Front page headline, file of the month, are all things that help generate interest in a mod, but that usually only happens at release. If you release an unfinished product to get feedback, you may not get that opportunity for free advertising again. The downside of this is that when you do release it, and if it is popular, you will get slammed with a lot of feedback and you may need to put in some good time addressing the issues that are brought up.

IMHO I would wait until you have a mod that can fully function and I would plan on spending some quality time addressing any feedback issues that come up right then and there. Good luck and the pictures look like you are creating an outstanding addition to the FO4 world.

It seems to be crafted differently from other Fallout environments, but that's not a bad thing.

Right now I would stoked to see where this mod will go, as I would LOVE to see some more open landscape in FO4.

And I also agree that you should wait until you feel like the mod is in a finished state, having a half-done landmass mod would be such a shame.

The screenshots look promising, keep it up OP! :D

So, as far as progress on this mod goes, I kinda had to start again from scratch. Looking at the old one, the scaling was off, the town looked nothing like Nantucket and it was generally a bit of a mess.
So far I have been working exclusively on the main town, which is significantly larger than the one in the old version. Increasing the size of everything also has some drawbacks, meaning the town is taking quite a while to make, and the full island will only take longer. I will probably keep this forum thread updated with progress as I go along.

Edit: I'll leave you with these pictures of the town of Nantucket, which saw increased growth due to the presence of uranium mining on the island.
