JakubDaviau Posted June 30, 2016 Share Posted June 30, 2016 Hello. i usually travel with mccready but i opted for robot Ada since i was doing mechanist thing, but then i got sidetracked with building, anyway, i am done with mechanist plot but i couldn't find mccready anywhere.I decided to use console to find him, typed things to select him, and to move to him, but that just moved me to field in sanctuary, he is not there, i tried to move him to me but that didn't work either.then i noticed that his ID number, has [D] next to him, so i though that must mean he is dead... i have no idea when that happen, i was with that ADA robot for few days now.If i use older save i would loose tons of progress and like 15 levels. I have no idea what happened or how, i just want him back... I tried to use "resurrect" but that didn't work either, i don't know why. I discovered on net that the [D] means marked for delete, so he must have been deleted. I don't know how, i don't use console, i do use mods but not console, i don't know what kind of mod would do this... I checked older saves and this happened long time ago it would seem, i cant find any recent save with him. I wont play like this... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But its okay now, i digged out some older save, much progress is lost but i suppose that will have to do, though it pains me. JimmyRJump Posted July 3, 2016 Share Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) Once you have the identification code of some character who died, simply type resurrect in the console, followed by that i.d. number. The latter only works for humans/animals, not for robots or Synths... Also, thet "D" in front of the code doesn't mean "Dead", it means "Deleted", so, most probably you have been using markfordelete at some point and accidentally hit Mccready and deleted the guy...
