Honeycone
Hi! Hopefully my searching skills are just abysmal, but I don't think there is a "portable cooking" item or mod for Fallout 4. The only one I've found is a mod that allows you to craft a campfire at workstations that are one-time-use items (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11734/?). An upside with the previously mentioned mod is that the author has found a way to magically spawn an interactable item if you just drop if from your inventory. Anyway, I would like to request a simple mod that creates a "portable hotplate" (or similar) that can be dropped from your inventory to create an interactable (portable and reusable) cooking station. Bye!
Loxly
From my time using that mod, the only thing not reusable if the fire for the cooking pot. The rest of the stuff you can pick back up and take with you. At least that is what I remember. It has been a while. I currently use Conquest that also throws in the ability to turn your campsite into a settlement.
NocteVagus
| As Loxly mentioned, Conquest is a pretty great (and immersive) mod that allows you to cook wherever you set up camp. It's the closet thing I've seen thus far to what you're requesting. That being said, I definitely wouldn't mind having a unique item, or a replacer for the hot-plates in the game that allowed players to cook on the go. Could be a pretty useful item for Survival mode. Though maybe limit the types recipes you can create since the hot-plates are pretty small. I also wouldn't mind getting a Food Sanitizer, like we had in F3. Perhaps something similar to the Portable Junk Recycler by Kentington: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14110Just pop the contaminated food in it to remove the radiation. Of course that'd be a whole other mod entirely. Regardless, great idea, OP. I fully support this. |
