Simpler "Armorsmith extended"?

The only things i want from mod is

every outfit in the game can now be worn under armor pieces and all armor pieces should show up when equipped.

every hat and helmet in the game that doesn't cover your face can be worn with bandanas & gas masks.

But from what i can see, you can have either everything that mod propose, if you install it. Or nothing if you not install it).

FAQ of this mod also doesn't says anything about it.

So... is that a mod that allow only wearing any outfit under armor?

I mean like wearing armor with smoking and other clothes that usually disallow some or all armor pieces.

I need only that kind of stuff, and nothing else that "Armorsmith extended" provides. Don't want all that extra crafting stuff.

Tried it - makes my game crash. First time it crashed in main menu. After that it crashed even before game loads into main menu. Mod is too heavy, and taking that i am already using lots of mods - no wonder it have serious conflicts with other mods. Perhaps if there would be a mod that would only allow wear any armor with any outfit - it wouldn't crash.

I guarantee the crashes have been caused by user errors. I've had the mod since it came out and it never caused a crash. I currently run about 220 mods, BTW.

Well, i am afraid i am not gonna try to figure out on my own what causing game to crash with this mod. Sad that there is no other mod like this. I would expect someone would make 'simpler' mod with only fracture of features of this mod.

^ In other words: "I'm lazy and want everything handed to me so I don't have to think". Maybe modding isn't for you.

Eh... i didn't ask me to help create new mod. I asked if there EXISTING mod.

You right, modding is not for me. Mods usage though is totally for me.

Not if you aren't willing to take the time to figure out why your game is unstable, it isn't. Modding your game isn't as simple as dropping in the files and firing up the game - you need to learn how to check for and resolve mod conflicts (e.g the leveled list from one mod overriding the leveled list from another mod, though those sorts of issues can be solved in about a minute with FO4Edit via making a merged patch), figuring out just what your system can handle (e.g if you download a mod like Grasslands, can you get away with using the all-out version, or should you go with the Performance version), and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

That said - if Armorsmith Extended alone made your game unstable, odds are you don't have a file that it requires - e.g you didn't install AWKCR, or you did install AWKCR but don't have the DLC AWKCR requires. Things like that are -not- a mods fault, the problem lies squarely with the user for failing to RTFM and/or learn the basics of modding a Bethesda game.

Tell me about it...

I am using mods since Morrowind, and over time used several hundreds mods for different games (even did few myself).

In the end you need to enjoy the game, not spending several hours trying to figure out why specific mod not working, especially if you not author of this mod, thus have way less clue about what can be wrong.

I read guide that author of AE provided, read it all, and did it all as he said. Also read his FAQ (entirely).

And if game refuse working after all everything was 'properly' done (according to author(s) of the mod(s) ), i am not gonna try to 'dig' beyond that, trying to figure out what can be possibly wrong.
