Squeecky
Hey there,I've noticed that some items (and mostly some modded things) are in French for me.. Any idea why? Is it detecting my PC as French or something (it isn't)? Vault 111 is Abri 111 and when I try to remove leafs from the floor, it's also some french gibberish in the workshop menu. Any clues?Edit: Spring Cleaning is one of the mods that is adding a lot of things in French, yet I've seen nobody else have anything about it. GePalladium
This happens when the game of the modder is not in english. I guess that french guy was playing with a french game. I am French too. And had the same pb. To avoid this "different language" issue, I install all my games in English. Then once the game in english installed, I installe the CK. Note: "french gibberish" is not very nice. Especially because if someone plays with a french game (or any other language... imagine a Japanese), each US mod he will add, will also add english to his game. They're probably a lot, none of them complains. Because it's how it works. (Tip for not fluent english modders: for the first gameplay I like to have at least the voices folder in french, so I download the game twise: first in french (I keep juste the voices file) then I re-download in english , then I replace (and rename) the voice folder in english by the other in french. ) Edited July 2, 2016 by GePalladium
Squeecky
I'm Belgian, I'd say Flemish giberish too.. :) I'm half French (language wise). Thanks for the answer though, I 'spose. Is there no way to change this into English, though? It's a little hard to work with sometimes.
GePalladium
Oh, ok then. :) Yes, I think you can change it in f4edit. Open each line of the mod and look for the words that the mod changes, then edit them in english. (Compare with Fallout4.esm in the right window)This works for F3 and NV, I think this should work in fallout4.
JimmyRJump
Check if the modder made a full French or full English mod and see which one you've installed. I too am "Vloms" (gibberish for Flemish) and always install everything (including Operating System) in English...

I guess I could try F4Edit. I don't think Spring Cleaning nor the other mod (which I for the life of my can't figure out which, as I have no specific mods that add Vault 111 as a settlement) have just a full English version. Squeecky
Found the culprit mod! It was New and Expandable Buildable Areas.
