ironbender800
Upgrade. You can build a PC that can comfortably play and mod skyrim for 500ish. And leave you with the option to upgrade down the road. Hold on, is it the graphics card? Or is it the computer as a whole? Sorry, I just need to know what the REAL problem is with my current PC. The entire computer needs to go lol. Dont get a laptop for gaming. try something like this I would go intel. AMD processors are incredibly dated and being updated soon. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/b3KcJx Edited July 4, 2016 by ironbender800

Mitigate
Considering the 900 series of GPUs is considered mid-range today... Yeah. Edited July 6, 2016 by Mitigate

FiftyTifty
Err, this is Skyrim. Not Crysis 3. But, sadly, OP's computer is pretty old. You want something around a Core Duo or a Phenom, with a 6670 to play at a constant 30fps with medium settings (no AA, 8x AF). Going older than that...Nah, you won't have much luck with Skyrim. It ran in the low teens on my old Pentium D + 8600gt computer.
