Michlo
It is the only code I've used but I just had to. The default limit is way too low. Anybody struggling on with the default still?
InuyashaFE
A little, I've had to pack up my companions because the dragon bones and scales are way too heavy... Luckily I'm close to finally getting that house in Whiterun.
Dalter
I play with the default limit, for me it's a TES-(and Fallout)-feeling to decide which items leave the dungeons with me and which must stay. And for hard moments it gives the potions (to enable the fasttravel). But i ask me if there exists a carry-more-spell?
soot00
Nope, I think the default limit is fine. I do understand some of us like being pack rats and grab anything and everything tho. If you want to increase your carry load without cheating, the game does say Stamina = Carry weight, just increase it during level up and/or chant items with stamina
Michlo
Thanks for the replies. To be clear, I don't increase it to crazy levels, just a bit higher than what I think is way too low of a starting point. Cheers.
InuyashaFE
The steed stone is a great help with that, though, it's a shame for me because I can't find the damned thing.

Hmm, I've not even heard of that yet. Please be careful of spoilers. :)

Tropxe
I have default plus 100 for the Pickpocket perks and plus a bit for my slight Stamina upgrades. I also have a piece of armour that adds 20 to the limit, and a medallion that adds a further 15 that I'll put on when required. I've also found a few potions that add 20 or so on top. I prefer to not change it because it has a lot of knock-on effects. First of all, you'll get more money if you sell those additional items, but you'll also level up more if you're taking stuff around to enchant, to blacksmith, to alchemise (or whatever the verb is) and so on. It also negates the use of several perks, such as the aforementioned Pickpocket one, and the Light Armour and Heavy Armour ones to remove armour weight, as well as undermining part of the purpose of the Stamina attribute. I understand it can be annoying, but that's all part of the sense of believability and challenge. Even JRPGs, which typically don't have item weight, will more often than not limit the total amount of items carried. That said, anyone here played The Witcher 2? Despite just being on my high horse and saying all that stuff, that game's weight limit was so jarring, considering how heavy stackable items were, I had to mod it higher, so I'm guilty of it too.
