JimboUK
From the same guy you got the house off, ask him about decorating.
runestyr
I only had enough money to furnish part of the house, so I did a few more missions to make more money. When I went back to the guy (forgot his name) to buy more furniture packs, the conversation option is no longer available. Is that a bug or did I miss something? Handofbane
I had the exact same problem my second time purchasing the house in Whiterun after starting a new character (couldn't even buy upgrades in the same conversation where I bought the house!). No idea what caused it, and it persisted after multiple reloads. My house remained completely empty of upgrades, with no solution I could find regarding it. Yet on my first character, I could buy upgrades, leave, come back and still get more.
Reddimus
Some NPCs don't offer store/buy options until they're in certain resting or sitting positions. If you're trying to talk to him while he's walking around, try hitting 1 hour wait and then talk to him when he stops moving.
runestyr
Thanks, I will try that. It makes sense that it might be caused by the AI package, either by design or by mistake. What kind of merchant turns away business, even during a meal? Doesn't he know the 214th rule of acquisition?
