Xescream
I love the new smithing skill, and Ive been looking at values and it would appear a smithing skill of about 190 is required to make daedric legendary. Obviously this requires enchanting. How would you go about it? should I use the "you can improve items XX% more" or fortify Smithing? Are there any good quest items for this? I am gonna hit 90 smithing tomorrow and I wanted to get my daedric legendary and then enchant it with some great effects. What effects would be cool? I don't need skill bonuses for my combat armor, as I am makign some cheaper sets into crafting sets.

ShadowscaleB1980
well if you want to do things legitimately (without resorting to cheating) there are items that can boost the smithing skill, but the biggest boost I have seen is 35% so theoretically if you get a ring,amulet,circlet/helm, gauntlets, amour and boots with that degree of enchantment on them you can get a 210% boost on top of your existing smithing skill. Also there are potions that can temporarily boost skills so it is possible to boost a skill much further than that. raatorotta
I have found enchantment of petrifying weapons best (don't remember english word of that effect lol) it freezes enemy for little time and gives time to kill them while they are helpless. My first character has dagger of petrifying at left hand and sword with flame effect in right hand. Very deadly combination. For bow fire effect or ice effect are best. Also soul trap for doublewielding is nice, so you can keep echantments working.
JesterKing
Do you have perks in smithing? I have a smithing skill of only 91 and have legendary deadric weapons and armor. No enchantments for making them. I do have the perks for deadric though. The only cheating I've done was to give me the materials for making and improving. Nothing else. Hope I helped. :) Edited November 19, 2011 by JesterKing
