The clones of my clones are on fire?!

Here's what i did:

 

1. Paralyze an essential character (like that Lex guy in the Imperial City).

 

2. Take the lowest damage weapon and do disarming slashes (left or right slash)

 

3. Heal if he's about to die and hadn't drop his weapon.

 

4. He drops his weapon.

 

5. Drop the Skull of Corruption staff for him when the paralyze spell wears off.

 

6. He wakes up, takes the staff and uses it on me.

 

7. I have a clone of me, so i can now go to the console and add another Skull of Corruption (since the SoC [skull of Corruption] does not work on a person bearing the SoC so you'll have to add it after you get cloned)

 

8. When i added the second SoC, the clone of me got on fire.

 

9. I cloned the fiery clone of me and his clone was on fire too... This is the part i hate. They run so freaking fast and fire casts shadow on everything, my computer just lags to oblivion with only 2 clones!

 

What should i do to stop this burning?

You could stop cheating with the command console, it seems to be the source of all your problems :whistling:

That there's a lot of trouble just to clone yourself with the skull. Have you considered ticking off an unarmed person and dropping the staff at their feet instead?

No no no, I don't mean any offense, but...

Just like ninjalord said before, using the console is a lot easier.

I, myself, usually do it for screenshooting's sake.

 

As for the burning effect, that would be a glitch.

well woogie, it was his cheating with console to create a 2nd Staff of Corruption that caused the problem :rolleyes:

This is the most complicated thing I've ever heard about in Oblivion.
