ZpIIlz
That issue came from this mod ([X] Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm) read the page it came from. I went back a read the entire page on the Unofficial Patch and didn't find anything saying it introduced any sort of mouse acceleration. Also I've played Fallout 3 modded plenty of times in the past all using the patch and I've never experienced this. There was only this in the 1.0 update: "Fallout 3: Fixed mouse sensitivity in menus not being the same as in-game (fix added to UF3P program)." Which it isn't. I use a Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse that has an insane max DPI of 12,000. I keep it at 2500 at all times with all games. But when I go into Fallout, in-game I have to turn my mouse sensitivity almost all the way off for it to be tolerable. But even with the mouse sensitivity that way the menu cursor is nearly impossible to control. It either creeps at a sluggish pace or darts from side of the screen to the other. That and (still in Vault 101) I experienced a frame rate drop into the 30's. With a GTX960, an 8-core CPU and 16GB of RAM? I don't think so...something has to be changed. blackrat99
Mart's Mutant Mod-Tougher Traders, Zones Respawn and Natural Selection are redundant since they are part of the Paradox Ignition merged MMM and also incorporated into Fallout3 Wanderers Edition. Are you sure about this? Those modules are not mentioned on the PI front page, and there's a post to the effect that they are not included, though that post is a year old. I'm not saying you're wrong (I don't know), just that there's no mention of those modules being included.

ZpIIlz
when during it's install / setup process, it point blank asks you about mouse accelerations, I know, I was involved in a way. So it does. And some quick google searches reveal that others with my exact same problem have solved it by simply installing the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.... So wtf? I HAVE the patch installed AND the fix enabled yet the problem persists.
Purr4me
uninstall the patches please and reboot the system. back up the fallout ini files and reset them to default by deleting them and using the games launcher.re-establish defaults for the game, next, iwill ask you IF you installed the very latest version of GFWL " Games For Windows Live" ? because it contains the xlive controls for the new systems and the games software to be of a matching variety. you seem to have gotten too far ahead of things, from what I can draw from the conversation here? ZpIIlz
That wouldn't solve anything... I have my mouse acceleration and sensitivity exactly where I like it. Changing the Windows or Logitech options would just make it worse. I use three monitors so changing the global sensitivity would not be a solution. And the problem isn't that my mouse HAS acceleration. I LIKE mouse acceleration. Getting rid of it entirely isn't what I want to do. I just want to get rid of whatever is adding or adjusting the acceleration in-game. Nothing more nothing less. I want the mouse to be exactly the same in-game as it is out of game like it is with the rest of my games.
Purr4me
For what you own, a default game set. master and DLC content only , test the systems mouse drives and forget about mod's until you solve your issues there "FIRST". The methods we use are known. but you need to start from a known good setup to begin with and we can walk you through it. one mod at a time if all else turns out correct and your happy with the mouse thingy there, then as you install these things. you can catch what the cause is / was.
