I just bought a new PC (Vram = 8192 (msi readon r9 390 msi gaming 8g graphicscard), ram 16gb (2x8gb ddr5)) and searched for a good guide to mod my Skyrim and found this guide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D76373%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D4567285&pUp=1 I installed everything the way it says except from the tree section I only installed enhanced vanilla trees because its enough for me. Anyway i was able to install everything including the Solstheim textures and the game still worked for me. But somehow after i installed the textures from Pfuscher it somehow didnt anymore. Everytime I load my game now it crashes (although i have crash fixes installed as the guide tells). I have to say that i installed Pfuschers textures with Nexus mod manager because I have nearly no experiences at all with modding, I wanted to have all the textures from Pfuscher and the author told me it should be okay, too. ldrifta Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 do you have an enb? I dont use the paralax textures so im not sure of the requirements.. but one of his mod pages states "Enb needed. parallax=true" other than that, I would need to see if it was loaded properly with nmm..
ironbender800 Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 The game crashes at startup? I am not really a fan of that guide personally. He just slapped a ton of texture/graphics mods together and called it a guide. Also SSME is outdated and not needed with crash fixes. Foxie01 Posted July 17, 2016 Author Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) When i load a savegame it crashes and when i start a new game the starting scene is just freezing for example. No i don't have an enb installed yet. And i installed crash fixes with NMM. I just wrote with pfuscher himself and he said it could be a vram problem and i should install enboost.
