Lord of the rings is a great books and has great films. post ur opinion on the book and ur face character. At first they are nothing more than troublemakers (well sort of), and then by the end of the series they both become so much more. (I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read the whole series). His character is a true hero; introspective, self-depricating, loyal, trustworthy, and a straight-up ass kicker.For sheer amusement, I would have to say that the way Legolas and Gimli interact with one another is hilarious. [TB]AEEE Posted August 1, 2003 Share Posted August 1, 2003 In the books it is hard to tell who my favorite character is!I would say it is Gimli and Legolas together as a team!Everyone who is into roleplaying and fantasy knows about the problems dwarfs and elbs/elfs have. The way J.R.R discribes them is just great! In the movie it is much harder to show all this! (I hope you know what I am trying to say here) Unfortunately the dwarf is too funny in the 2nd. movie!
