wud like 2 see these two things..

1. as im a two handed swords kinda guy always...so a scabbard for my two handed swords on the back

2. and for the dual wielders...thought having the swords or daggers on their back in a 'X' (crossed) pattern wud look real cool...like from the witcher (2007)

i dun know jack about modding...just a regular stalker in the nexus...felt these wud be cool so.... thanx

Unlike previous games, this might end up being fairly easy to do in Skyrim. Try this, as a demonstration:

- Equip a weapon and sheathe it

- Open the console (the ~ key, next to the 1 on most keyboards)

- Type "player.resurrect" (without quotes) and press enter

- Equip another weapon in a different slot. The weapon you first equipped will remain equipped.

It should be possible to automate this somehow with the Creation Kit eventually. There are a couple of minor issues, but hopefully they can be worked around.

the "ressurect trick" does not really work that well. And if you're using two daggers, only one will show regardless, because daggers share the same hook-point on the armor. But I am sure that once the SDK is released, some smart modder can relocate hook points and also add scabbard to greatswords.

Would also be nice if the bow, and equipped weapons was visible even if you had a spell in each hand. Seems "logical" to me, at least.

Would be nice if Bethesda actually bothered to make an official fix for this though, it is probably damn easy for them to do, and it's outright abysmal that they failed to include it in the game.

what would be cool is if any weapon you have in your quick select menu showed up ( in different places of coarse ) on your body like if you have a bow and arrows and a great sword and duel weild axes 2 axes would show up on the hips, a bow and quiver on the back and then a great sword would show up behind the bow. its hard to explain but it would be the most realistic way to do this kinda thing instead of being able to pull great axes out of your pocket when its convenient.lol
