Has anyone ever managed to get this hellhole sorted in such a way that they don't have to kill them all ? I am on my 3rd playthrough so I read Fallout 4 Wikia several times, went to the compound, agreed with Dr Chambers and killed Honest Dan. I swam across and spoke to Jacob and he agreed to let me use it as a settlement. I didn't speak to anyone or touch anything and the loons started shooting at me !

I got sick of it again so I went back and killed them all, scrapped the Wild Mutfruit , stole everything and stored it in the workbench (FO4 Wikia says this makes it owned by you), then went over and killed everyone in the Compound.

If I could, I would set fire to the place and sow the ground with salt.

The whole synth thing is stupid anyway, robots don't feel or get all boo hoo butthurtz my jeeeb suckz and are not slaves they are robots! A true properly functioning AI now that is another story. There should be a third option which is to just get stockton's daughter out of there, she shouldn't be a synth thats stupid and then go with dan to take her back to stockton which counts somehow as something positive to do for bunker hill. Who really needs covenant as a settlement anyway? The whole place is super small can't even get 10 people in there sometimes.

It was bugged from the start. But it's bugged differently now than it was back in november. Now they actually join the minutemen before turning on me. Good thing about it, the Deezer doesn't join them and the turrets stay neutral also. Deezer's lemonade is pretty usefull after all.

The latest twist is that if I try to send surplus settlers to it they simply won't go. The map shows 9 people there and satisfaction down to 30% though there is only a pile of corpses across the road. I even got a call to "Help defend Covenant" !
