Also keep in mind that a good bulk of the land was not taken, but bought from the French. Infact most Native Americans were already subdued and objectified by the British, French, and Spanish forces that had occupied the majority of two continents the century before. Britian and france and the rest massacred us on the East coast. Spain massacred us to the south. America did it where the others had already done it and everywhere else. @Spartan I think its safes to say from what happens after caesar dies(Legate takes over and screws everything up.) that he really doesnt have anyone to take the throne after him. Syco21 Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 The Legion is by far the most under-rated faction. Yes they are brutal. Are they a bunch of mindlessly violent psychos? No, not even close. The Legion is more organized and more efficient then the NCR by a long shot. They are brutal when they need to be and they need to be because its a brutal wasteland. Now they do have their problems such as slavery(though again brutal when needed) and the fact that Caesar has no one to take the throne in his place. Or at least no one that can properly operate the Legion in that case. They are doomed by they are not anymore doomed then the NCR. Which is exactly what Caesar wants. He doesn't expect the Legion to survive very long after he conquers the NCR. He expects and desires for it to change into something else. To blend the best of both groups into a new entity. kschang77 Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Legion is trying to recreate LATE Rome system with updated tech, but also brought back all the stuff that humanity grew out of, such as slavery, prejudice, and so on. No ghouls or other "changed" in the Legion, pure humans only. No females either. No gays either. It maybe brutally efficient, but it's a REGRESSION, not a progression.
