Working Nif.xml out!

This probably isn't the final version, but it works for everything from creatures to armor to weapons to statics for me. I'd figure I'd share it. I did NOT create this file, I am merely linking it from the nifskope forums. You must right-click and use the "save link as" option. Rename the file to nif.xml and stick it in the nifskope folder.

Try this:

http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Setting_the_Texture_Search_Path

You'll likely want to follow the directions that are specific to oblivion.

It still won't detect any textures for me. My paths are as following

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim

C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/skyrim/Data

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\Unpack\textures

Any ideas?
