Hey,

Is it only me or something has happened to the Steam version of the game so that when I run it the saves won't load or if they, somehow, load successfully I can play only for about a minute or less. All started, I think, when I checked integrity of the game files... Anyone got simmilar issues recently?

Thanks,

MK

P.S.

Dunno if I placed the post well - please redirect it if not.

Do you have any mods installed, or have you made any changes to your .ini's? Listing what mods you do have installed could be helpful, and any changes regarding uGridsToLoad, the map menu, LOD distances, etc. are particularly suspect, also if you added the max memory line to the [Papyrus] section of Skyrim.ini make sure you didn't increase the value beyond 1,800,000,000.

Also, ENBseries works wonders on general Skyrim crashing. It's worth a shot if you're not having an issue.

Mods I have currently instaled:

- dB Enhanced Blood (ESP),

- GetArrowsBack (ESP),

- Detailed Faces v2 (Textures), (used NexusMM to install)

- Detailed Lips 1.0 (Textures), (used NexusMM to install)

- High Quality Eyes 1.2 (Textures), (used NexusMM to install)

- Realistic Water textures,

- Enhanced Night Skyrim (Textures),

- Lockpick Pro,

- SkyrimFemaleMuscleMod-44-1-0 (Textures),

- the mod adding clock to the loading screen.

Tried changing ini files but after checking files integrity default ones were downloaded. I was using FXAA Post Injector but uninstaled it - game still crashes. The same with LAA 2-0-2.

Maybe I should try to reinstall all mods using NexusModManager?

Regrads,

MK

Did you have ugridstoload bumped up in Skyrim.ini before it got reverted? If so, try adding that line back in and setting it to what you had before, then follow these instructions.

1)Open your save.

2)Hit the tilde key to open the console.

3)type:

"setini "ugridstoload:general" 5"

"saveini"

"refreshini"

4)Close the console by hitting tilde again.

5)Make a new save and exit/restart Skyrim.

Also, I don't think Steam should be reverting the .ini's in \MyDocuments\(User)\MyGames\Skyrim\) which are the only .ini's you should be altering as they're the one that affect the game. :psyduck:
