jhardingame
Enjoy! Everything works good so far. Glad to see this come out so soon.
ziitch
Good to see that there's NIF support, but I have to say that most of the focus should be on updating the Blender plugins for more interest. It's been outdated for a while and needs some serious updating TLC more than anything else since it's now at 2.58.

Well the thing about these is that they we're not made by the Niftool devs, they were made by some random 3ds max user. So there is no 'official' support for 3ds Max still (hasn't been for a good while).

Werne
It's good for 3ds max users, finally someone will start making models for Skyrim. Unfortunately there's still no Skyrim plugin for me :(. I have Blender 2.48, Google Sketchup Pro and Autodesk Maya 2012. ziitch
Werne: Unless you mean 2.58, the latest Blender plugin is for 2.49. But yeah, same here, most modders can't afford $3500 USD software.
Werne
@ziitch 2.49, I wrote the wrong number. Edited November 23, 2011 by Werne
Alexander Wolf
It could be me or it's not working correctly as the author did state that he just imported only. I did a test of importing a skyrim clothes nif into max and exported it out without making changes. The exported nif hierarchy is all messed up so i just take NiTriShape and copy the branch over to the original skyrim nif. It seems it just crashes the game when equipping it or.. after messing with the exporter settings or nif block numbers it comes out invisible with skyrim original NiTrishapes only appearing. Anyone get a exported nif meshes working? Edited November 23, 2011 by Alexander Wolf
FavoredSoul
Oh, yes. I tried it to. It didn't work. Imported and then exported without changes. I didn't get any crashes but the meshes were invisible. I loaded one up in Nifskope afterwards and saw that it was a multicolor rainbow of nonsense. Not good. On the upside, meshes can still be opened and modified! I'm going to worry about how to export them later.
