LHammonds Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 I finally ran across a sword in a chest that had the soul trap enchant. I immediately destroyed it to learn how to make them and enchanted my daedric bow....with a 1 second trap. I cleared out a large dungeon using my bow and it went MUCH faster than using the spell in my hand....MUCH faster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BGatot Posted November 24, 2011 Share Posted November 24, 2011 For some reason my current character still hasn't found any soul-trap enchanted weapon, though she's already at mid-level (I think level 20 or so). My previous character got one much earlier in the game. Using spell to collect soul is a bit of a pain actually, as my character can only do once and her magic's depleted and must wait until it recovers. And if the spell misses... aaaargh! It never gives me the option to use filled petty gem, common gem, greater gem, etc.This is an actual problem, the UI doesn't let you see more than three gems for recharging, and I have yet to find a way to scroll down to my petty gems in the list whenever I do need to refill my axe/sword/whatever. The only reasonable ways to get the right ones to show are either drop off my bigger ones in a chest, or find an Arcane Enchanter and spam-craft with what I have trapped that is higher, both of which are pretty weak options.
