Tarshana
If you go to my mediafire link, it's already downloaded/uploaded. Extract it and check to see that it all opens on your hard drive. Otherwise, I never had any issues with downloading it.

Just a quick note : to make sure your archive is as small as possible, you should use 7z's LZMA2 format on Ultra compression .I tested it, the size of the archive went from 387 MB (60% of 638 MB) down to 258 MB (39% of 638 MB). It's also faster to decompress. Edited August 6, 2016 by CreeperLava

mcgoy
I don't know if any of this will impact the downloads, but a few "notes of interest" based on the pages that I read.... Multiple projects are (probably) spam, Bioware didn't always clean up projects that were advertisementsMultiple projects never had any files associated with them (abandoned, lost interest, didn't get the public acclaim that was expected, etc.)The file download being greyed out means that the author didn't identify a main file; it doesn't mean that there aren't any files there. Each project can have multiple downloadable files'published' means darn little. If I remember correctly, this feature was added after a number of the modders had already left. "planning" can mean that the mod author is still planning the mod or it can mean that the mod author was gone when the option was made availableMod authors must choose to make a file accessible. Files that aren't published may be older versions of the files or may be 'not ready for prime time' files or might be from the 'old' BSN which would all restriction to a group of users. I uploaded my 'finished' mods to Nexus, but kept my mods that were in development/testing on BSN because the BSN project pages had less traffic and it was easier to restrict access to testers. I may use DropBox (or something similar) for future development, I find it rather annoying on Nexus when a new file is shown as being added almost every day for some mods. (oops - got off topic) Personally, I removed all published files from BSN and provided links to the upload on Nexus the last time that BSN was shutting everything down. The only files I have left on BSN are test versions; a number of mod authors did this - if they left anything on BSN. I hope that explains some of what you were seeing during the downloads. HTTrack downloads everything it sees, so no worries about missing something :).
CreeperLava
FYI, forums backup is at 160 GB, 125k/611k links. The number of links is still climbing, worryingly, I hope I'll have enough space for everything. Edited August 7, 2016 by CreeperLava
Tarshana
mcgoy, thank you for your concern  Creeper is right- Those projects that might seem "abandoned" were still downloaded with the program. Anything set to "public" I have even the old polls! Creeper- I did notice that if you do not touch the main download folder, you can pause, select some other subfolder, do one of your ultra compression zips and it will not impact the download. It might save room for you. What you download is saved to the hts files in the main folder area. I can start doing a download now that I am at my workstation so if you are worried about room, I think my TB HD here would be enough space. I am here for 6 hours a day, would that be enough time? I can set it to ignore anything you have already downloaded if you wanted to give me a specific chunk forum.

I still have about 800 GB free, plus 1 TB that is used by other programs. I will move these if needed, then only try the archiving method. Should be enough that way. 6 hours a day is not much, it depends how fast you can download there. Try running HTTrack for an hour on forums.bioware.com, see how much you download in that time.
