BSN is shutting down; files there could be lost.

I thought I put the Modmanager and DA Tool in the Utilities? .. checked.. no I didn't. ~facedesk~ I was in the process of doing that when a subordinate came in. On the inventory page, tag a note for me to resolve

The ME2 mods are listed on ME2 (managers)

- I do not know why when I copy paste names it links to BSN. I will adjust those in a bit.

Question : for mods with open permissions and no way to contact the author, do we reupload immediately, as we come across these, or do we wait for everything to be sorted out ?

Open is open. If the author says folks can distribute the mod at will, we should be good. There's no reason to bother them, and they likely don't want you to. Seems you should be fine to upload, but if you want to PM Dark0ne/SirSalami to be certain, it can't hurt.

Don't worry about this Tarshana. It's easy to click the entire column and "remove links". Just do it when you're done entering data for the day :)

Ah so. I am idiot, hear me be stupid. I sent some authors on Nexus the blanket msg of "I see your mods are not hosted anywhere else." Dear Mod Authors.. I am sorry for being an idiot and not editing the message. I am going to put this on hold until I get home I can do about 5 lines before I can move onto something else and it is not fair to this project to have me make such a fresh mistake. I will be packing up work in about 30 minutes. I apologize.

@Creeper, @Tarshana -- Looks like both of you might have contacted DahliaLynn.

Also, if you are contacting an author when their mods are already hosted on Nexus, please use the note field on the new mod author contact sheet to explain why.

Whoever created the EDIT MESSAGE button is a feckin' genius I would like to nominate the Most Awesome Button Ever Award. Edited the messages; only one person of the authors I contacted read what I sent, and the person who I did send it to was missing a couple mods on Nexus so whee! No issues there. Okay, home I go.

Edit: I contacted them in case they have hidden projects they want to save and also so they can keep any other pertinent info just in case.

Okay, if you want to do that, that's fine, but please make a note on the author contact sheet  Right now I'm seeing a lot of contacts for mods that are clearly already on the Nexus, which then seems weird.

Btw, I've been adding some authors to the contact sheet that you missed.

Like Tarshana, I'm contacting authors that are already on Nexus if they have :

- either not up to date mods on Nexus, compared to BSN

- only some of their mods on Nexus

- to warn them, so that they can anticipate and edit their descriptions to avoid dead links

I may have forgotten to search the contacted author list once or twice. I'll do that more consistently now.

I'll upload the mod, then. The readme clearly says "you can use them freely anywhere but credit is appreciated. "

Edit : Apparently the mod is already on Nexus. I don't get why it didn't show up in Google's search results though, weird. Better double check before uploading :).
