Has anyone else not had issues?

I'm feeling a bit lonely here.

In fifty-eight hours of game play I've ran into maybe two non game breaking bugs (Delvin not taking larceny items and an arrow stuck in my eyeball, which I personally found hilarious), one crash that was most likely my computer being unable to handle one particular scene at that moment (she's a bit old and in need of some new parts), and.. that's it?

Perhaps it's my lack of interest in graphics. I play on low and enjoy it. Still find it magnificent. I'm loving the quests so far; the thieves guild quest was an amazing story to participate in. I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of options, especially with speech, but I don't feel like I've played enough to really form a good opinion on that. Especially since I haven't been doing the main quest. And for the UI, I really like it. I've run into the problem with the arrow/big text not being where it should be, but I assume that'll be fixed in a mod or patch. Till then it's easy enough to figure out which text is highlighted.

My biggest plus? No more scrolling through endless keys just so I can find a torch!

But when I come here looking for advice on little things, everyone seems to be having problems. Crashing and the like. Instability. Ragging on the features. And just general negativity. Not to mention the Steam hate. I've been using Steam for years, and if people actually took the time to check out its features, they'd probably really find it useful.

Is anyone actually enjoying this game like I am?

I've had few issues. The game crashes for me, but only rarely. Sometimes it's bad and only takes a few minutes before it shuts down my entire rig, but most of the time, I can play for hours without so much as a framerate hiccup. I hope that Bethesda releases a good patch to stop the crashes, but I'm happy in the mean time.

A few minor issues along the way, such as seeing my companion flapping her arms and trying to fly. Two crashes while playing. Other then the update debacle we just had ( I have been playing off line since I installed the game ) I'm totally enjoying the game. I'm still not on the storyline, just out exploring, doing some minor quests ans such.

I never have crashes, and have had a (mostly) bug-free game. I HAVE encountered a couple of bugs with the Blood on the Ice quest in Windhelm (the quest won't even trigger/start for me) and with the thieve's guild. I'm just avoiding those quests right now until a patch comes out that fixes them. I also had a glitch where a quest item had slid literally inside of a wall and I couldn't get to it. I had to use a console cheat to get it.

I'm enjoying the heck out of this game, though.

If the game makes your whole rig go down, that could be related to some overheating problem, have you checked you CPU, GPU temperatures? - just a thought....

I'm feeling a bit lonely here....Is anyone actually enjoying this game like I am?

Hi - for whatever it's worth, I have been running the game countless hours and it has randomly quit once. I am running an average year old PC with a good Nvidia card and Skyrim maxed out, runs like silk provided I turn off arthroscopic filtering....actually I can't see a difference on or off and I am a graphic eye-candy nut which is what drew me to Skyrim. I posted my thoughts a few days ago.

I notice that some of the latest mods like improved water and speeding up horses are making a huge difference in what is already an astoundingly beautiful game. Just thought I'd mention that.

I've played about 75 or so hours on the pc version. Enjoying the game immensely as I haven't picked up a FPS for ages, so this is a refreshing change from the MMO grind. The bugs I've encounterd are the crash to desktop, but I think it's more my fault as trying to alt-tab out of the game is difficult and seems to make it unstable to the point of randomly crashing. This doesn't appear to happen when I don't alt-tab around.

Had a bug with Lydia randomly showing a huge ice spike through her body after one fight. It went after we zoned. Some minor graphical issue with a pixilated layer over a piece of terrain at one point.

The usual "can't marry Lydia" issue which I solved with the console command and just last night in the "Forsworn Conspiracy" where Eltryis is already dead when you have to report back to him to complete the quest and can't speak to him, well, because he's dead. Going to see if the resurrect consol command on him will fix that.

Otherwise, totally addicted and the issues are really minor in comparison to the amount of fun I'm having.

Agree. Make sure your power supply is at least 500w. Newer rigs should have 600-650 watts.

The last time my whole rig crashed like that, my graphics cards was heating up because it was packed with dust. Blew it out with compressed air and runs nice and cool now.

My computer runs like crap when it's dusty as well. I clean it usually once a month with q-tips, and just picked up some compressed air a few weeks ago. I keep the side off (okay, I lost it, but it's here somewhere) so it gets pretty dusty pretty quickly.
