All this talk of making Skyrim look more realistic...

The logs look fantastic, the wall looks too bright, the seaweed looks nice if rather out of place, and the rock looks rather dodgy.

Overall, this is not something I would use myself, but I have to smile every time I see these thread on the front page.

Keep at it, gentlemen.

Retro the likes of old games like Zelda would be awesome i figure. Just keep at it, but the bridge oughta be a diffrent texture. Might be you have to improvise a bit since the mehses are of such high quality. Waterplants on the other hand look great! Yum. Edited by Nadimos

Quick update: This is obviously gonna take awhile, but thanks to a quick Google search, all of the Daggerfall textures should speed things along. And yes, I am improvising on some of the more complex things. Mostly because I want to see what comes out. :)

I am honestly shocked these look so good. As usual, any help is appreciated. Ask and you can get whatever I got in terms of sprites. Got a full set of Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Ragnaorok Online, Duke Nukem 3D, Strife, Powerslave, and Blood Textures that go perfect in a FPS.

For now, I leave you with a surprisingly serene underwater scene...

...and not one thread has the decency to propose a completely different type of texture project?

I call this first step; The Retro Project! First these walls: and then, THE WORLD! MWAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA-hack-cough.

Ahem...anyway, anyone interested in helping out? Its surprisingly simple, but theres a sh-- ton of textures.

Think I'd rather dig my eyes out with glowing hot forks than play Skyrim in such ugliness

You should add the newer screenshots to your first post...they're a lot better than that screenshot of the out of place brick wall. :P

Really like the logs and trees haha.

Thats a good idea...
