Guys who play girl characters

I find those that are insecure about the fact that people are playing with the opposite sex in a game have more questionable personal gender Identity than those that has no qualms about it.

I think you missed most of our points. First off, nobody feels insecure because they feel it is akward playing a female. Secondly, have you seen how half of the people who plays female act? "lol i like girl ass!!!" or "lol u into men?". That screams a lot more insecurity than it does for anybody else.

Myself, I never play a female. Mostly because even with the little sese of RP I have, it never suits them. I really can't see myself playing a 2 handed warrior, wearig heavy plate, and being a female. It could probably fit if I played an assassin or Thief, but I never do.

My point is: Not many cares what gender they play. It's just the guy who plays female only that got the most idiotic excuses for it. The kind of desperat-to-get-laid excuses you can find in the internet. "I'd rather look at a girl ass than a guys!", "I like boobs!", "I want to watch something pretty!". That screams of desperate and insecure to me. It's the kind of comment you'll find on youtube when the 12 year olds comment on a music video.

Other than that, I myself couldn't care less what people play. Go play an Argonian female for all I care, just don't come up with any desperate excuse that imply you've never been with a woman.

I didn't imply anything. I'm just saying that i prefer a real woman for admiration of the female body, not a pixel figure that is representing myself in a pixel world.

Ever hear of Art?

There's plenty of female nudes in that too, does that mean that people who like nudes in art have a problem too?

So you're implying it's abnormal to play a male character? :psyduck:

I feel fine as a male, admiring how my female character looks, if you feel fine admiring how your male character looks, then go for it.

Just stop judging people for how they want to play their game.

This is the ignorant crap I'm talking about, that I addressed in my other post.

You just don't get it do you?

I'm sick of these lame short-sighted "Lol you need to get laid if UR playing a female character" or "U R desperate if you need to play a female character"

If you "couldn't care less what people play" then WHY are you in this thread insulting people who play female characters?

I'm really getting tired of people like that. "I don't care what any of you do, but I'm going to stay in this thread and argue about it and insult you for doing it, even though I don't care what you do." :hurr:

Read it again. You might learn something.

Insult? If you actually read it, you'd know I am pointing towards the people excusing themself with the most sexist reasons out there. That does point towards "I am desperate and need to excuse myself for playing a female."

I suggest you leave the rage pill alone and actually read before you react. Okay?

Maybe it just takes a larger amount of creativity or fantasy, or whatever, but my character is never a representation of myself. I already 'play' myself in real life. When I play a game, I just want something drastically different from what I normally am. Usually some magic type of character. While warrior type classes usually fit better with a male avatar, I find that magic fits better on female ones. There's just something silly about a man running around in a dress.

At the end of the day, gender in roleplaying games is mostly just a parameter. It merely defines the look of your character. Sometimes NPC's make sexist or uncomfortable remarks, but fortunately that doesn't happen a lot. Most girls don't like it when the game treats their character like that either, so scriptwriters tend to avoid it.

If you'd read between the lines on those posts, they're mostly said tongue-in-cheek

Why spend the time read between the lines? My point came across nicely. You understood it, or you didn't. Either way, it's not my problem.

Yeah, but a videogame character is not art for me.

I never said I admire my male char. I just find him badass looking, and cool, hence i like to see him in 3rd person too.

I'd get distracted by constant female booty wiggling back and forth in front of my eyes.

I never did, nor did i imply, nor did i mean it. I just said It makes me wonder. = I cant understand it. :psyduck: Edited by Kyuubi no Youko
