jjb54
Yes, apparently it actually came out earlier today. I was checking out a mod at about 9'ish AM PDT. Worked fine and was going to test 1 more mod out and, between the time I started the game and restarted: POOF! UPDATE. I even had NO UPDATES CHECKED on Steam and for some reason, Steam Reset it, again! I would like to go "OFF LINE", but I have a few people that connect with me via Steam Chat, so that's not really an option. I just have to verify everyday, I guess - that UPDATE is always TURNED OFF. This is not SE's fault. As usual they will get it out as soon as their real lives permits.

gamingunderscoreogre
I looked at properties in steam for Fallout 4 and I don't have a no update option. All three choices involved the game updating. Seems if you have steam, you must update period. Since their so draconian about it, coundn't they at least show some forethought and e-mail the FS4E people a day or two early about the update? oxnxdragon666
I never had these issues with other Bethesda game being stealth patched and breaking various mods, mainly because I mainly moved to pc after Skyrim had been fully updating. Also Bethesada can stealth patch at will on pc because unlike consoles they don't have to wait for Sony and Microsofts permission to upload an update (so the "pc master race" ends up being Bethesda's patch beta testers for the "console peasants"). Royhr
Well they are going to keep patching the game until at least Nuka-Cola World come out and is stable for the most part. And even then you will probably see occasional updates to fix stuff. So you all just have to put with it. Or stop using F4SE for now. And why does Beth have to give the F4SE team a headsup about any updates being released? Just so you all won't be inconvenienced for a day or two? Please..... And yes I use F4SE and I currently can't play either but I can live with waiting a bit. Man it really does get tiring reading all of the complaining whenever an update is released. Yet people also continue to complain about bugs in the game that they keep saying they wish that Beth would fix. :wallbash: If you don't want to put up with what's going on then go back and play Skyrim or something...
