Gabbemaster
Yeah the niftools code is open for developers and contributors, however the Maya plugin and the Blender plugin are separate plugins pretty much entirely, you will have to develope animation support for the Maya plugin yourself. It is getting some work done on it, you would be wise to visit the niftools forums in the maya development section to see the current status and ask any questions there. Ah, I thought we talked about animation support that already existed for previous versions of Maya. Will take a look at the niftools forum later. Thanks for all the great tips :)

Ghogiel
I did a similar thing as tupac4eva7 did. old news Yeah the niftools code is open for developers and contributors, however the Maya plugin and the Blender plugin are separate plugins pretty much entirely, you will have to develope animation support for the Maya plugin yourself. Thanks for all the great tips :)I'm not 100% sure, but yeah I don't think it has animation support, but think someone might be looking to some development on that. Not that it matters, any animations that are stored in the nifs for SKyrim are ones not supported by the plugin, afaik even door animations are stored in hkx and not kf, so niftools animation support is kinda redundant as you can use the actual official Havok SDK like BGS did to make the game. Edited November 24, 2011 by Ghogiel
