mkr1977
Now that we know that Skyrim will be remastered into 64 bit with a special edition, what do people here think the likelihood is of Special Editions for Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas? Bringing these games into 64 bit is the only way to ensure their longevity.

blackrat99
Fallout 3 and NV are older and would need a lot more work than remastering Skyrim. Also, Skyrim sold better and with fans still awaiting the next TES game I imagine Bethesda expect a remastered Skyrim to sell well. Finally, with Fallout 4 just out and DLCs still being released I can't see Bethesda wanting to distract Fallout fans from their current projects. Finally, Bethesda have no interest in prolonging the longevity of previous Fallout games. In short, not a cat in hell's chance.
IKobi
The Engine is way older on FO3 and FO:NV, so a remaster is extremely unlikely. Even TES:S is not getting a full upgrade, the engine in TES:S remaster will be a mix of the current TES:S engine and FO4 engine.
