LE [request] More Songs for Bard's

Name for mod: Bards Enhanced

I think that it should use this name, as Enhanced usually means better, especially in modding. It's not my mod I know, but a suggestion for a name. After all, the main point of the mod is to add more song varieties to bards. The singing adoring fans would be optional, right?

dunno, we dont make vanila bards better, we plant new ones in, so thats not it, maybe "Awesome Bards" ?

 

 

Reading this was the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard of... absolutely absurd. So I spent 5 minutes and made the song....

Anyway go there fantasy bards and look for something that could be used as an example of how our Bards going to look like.

With the 7 string heavy metal guitars, and 6 string heavy metal bass guitars? No, i'm joking.. but the game does need some more songs available for some extra immersion at the very least. Can you unlock more, or there only two that the bards perform?

 

I would acctually like to record some heavy metal guitar passages for skyrim :)

The more songs the merrier and merriment! Whilst I personally wouldn't add Heavy Metal to my game [though I might listen lol], I'll sure add you to the bards resource list for others to take it up. Ideally we have a group of songs per artist so we can make them up a specific bard in game, I think we ought to give the artist of the music a bit of choice in this regard :)

 

To your questions, I knew I'd get there eventually, the game doesn't really have more songs than listed above [more than 4] I am confident that you can add more however and I think I'll just get over my perfectionism for a moment, skip my lipsync attempts [failing miserably due to crashing of programs!!!] and just put out a mod with new songs in it from our talented artists. This will help generate a bit of interest, perhaps get more artists and modders on this and take it to the next level :)

A completely ridiculous and pompous bard, who speaks with a contemptuous, condescending, slightly nasal voice.

A fop.

He is always sporting a larger-than-life codpiece at times adorned with tassels, beads, or ribbons.

Sounds fun, we could probably make a face like this in race editor, but for those clotches we would definitely need a modder.

 

However, there is not much we can do before CK release and maybe, when its out, someone will release new clotches packs and suchlike that we can use later to create immersive and colorfull characters like this.

Hey is this thread still active?? 2 yrs ago. I am also a real-life bard and made several skyrim songs, and I'm a modder: Anduniel Companion and Anna NPCs both have custom-voiced bard followers who sing my lore-friendly songs. I would love to get on board this this Enhanced Bards mod and see what we can do!

I had an idea very similar to this one, although as yours came first people are unlikely to go for mine. It adds songs based on the Dragonborn's quests and decisions; each choice the player makes in the game can influence the lyrics. Maybe you could add that to your already-developed mod.
