Tuxek
I am sorry. Just wanted to say that up front. I have always used in adblock because of torrent sites and the annoying popups those sites have.I always had adblock off for youtube and the nexus and many more sites because i wanted to support the websites but today i enabled it on the nexus once again.I am sorry but i am not fine with porn popups. And not even that they remove the page you are currently on and replace it with boobs across your screen, even if you go to previous page it still gives you more porn ads. This is really annoying and makes adblock almost nessesary to browse the nexus.I know ads are essential for sites like these but this has to be stopped and i am sick of those popups. spectre900
Personally I don't have any problem with porn ads myself but very recently there have been a fullscreen popup ad showing up on the Nexus page which is annoying as heck. Don't wanna have to block ads on the site but if they keep appearing then I unfortunately will do that for a time until it's hopefully fixed. Lisnpuppy
When you see ads like that, or any ad which is problematic you need to get it reported so that it can be removed or perhaps a new ad provider needs to be found. They can not however, remove the ad unless you can tell them what it is. The ads aren't the same for everyone and are regional. I don't think a porn ad really should be on here but I don't know. If you look around this section you will see several things about the ads. I'm not sure if the ad reporting tool is in full use but if it is then use that to report the ad. If not grabbing a screen capture to report it is very important. Here is the news article of the tool.http://www.nexusmods.com/games/news/12747/? This has nothing to do with getting the offending ads off the Nexus, but if you want to support the site becoming a Premium member either for a limited time or forever will permanently remove ads from your Nexus file sites. Or alternately becoming a supporter will do the same without all the other Premium benefits. Info on thathttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/premium/? Good luck. TheVampireDante
Indeed, you shouldn't be seeing any adult content advertisements here, we don't allow that sort of ad. Same with popup ads, we don't do those. If such advertisements appear, then do as Lisn has suggested and use the report ad function that is available. If the ad does not have the option, then it is likely not being presented on site legitimately and I recommend you check your browsers and cookies for spamware/malware or other such issues. spectre900
I think it was something about uh... tinder or something? Not sure, I kinda closed the tab down as soon as naked ladies appeared on the page. Only happened twice so far and seem to only happen once per day or session basically. I did some cookie cleaning now so I guess we'll see if it appears again later or not.
spectre900
Well that ad showed up again. Happened just as I clicked on an image to enlarge it while browsing some mods (think it did that last time too, getting triggered by a click) so it seems to be something hiding away and triggering outside the usual ad space. I took a screencap this time but I can't really post it in here I guess, cause of nudity and all and showing a link to an adult site. The ad in question does not seem to appear on the dedicated ad space so I dunno if I can use the report ad button for this?
Tarshana
Your ad pages are generated by google, bing and yahoo searches. Most ad companies track your browsing data to bring relevant ads. That being said; before I became a supporter I never once saw an ad about pornography. Even after doing a sex-ed research paper. I think you have something wrong going on your end. Try this article for helpful info.

Yet somehow I'm getting similar results to the others including that better than tinder page, but I also get one of those you have been selected as the winner by facebook.(I don't use facebook or social media, at all) So at least part of that equation is not true. Also it is only on this site that I get those pages shoved into my face, to the point where it's actually a pain to navigate, browse or use the nexus. Tarshana
Try performing a malware and virus scan. Ads like that should not be happening; as I stated, ads go by search vector and if you are not a regular at facebook sites and such they should not be happening. That is what the article is for. When reporting ads you should screencap them and then use the "contact us" feature at the bottom of every page. Not the forums. However Tarshana is right, Nexus does not, will not and has never had any adult ads. If you're seeing some (especially the on click type which again is not something Nexus does) that means your computer is likely infected with something you got someplace else. You should run your virus scans, malware bytes, spybot and ccleaner.
