prolovegirl
In Morrowind and Oblivion (and in FO3 and FNV) the carryweight stat was always a problem. You had to load up at least six times per dungeon and make six trips to the shops to sell it all. PC version was better than X-box, because you could have a mod to adjust the carryweight or just use the console yourself. It's such a relief that in Skyrim, you can just get your current follower to load up with everything from an entire dungeon, and get it all back from them when you're standing in front of the shopkeeper! SO much easier! Only one trip needed. That's the way to do things! PLG
Aurielius
True you can pack horse your followers but a simpler method is to console change your Carry Weight. then you don't have to have those pesky companions bumbling into you while you are out in the wilds. Player.Setav carry weight (to whatever you deem fit..personally I like 1000.)
oldspice2625
If you use the player.modav carryweight <value> command, it's better because it's permanent... the big difference is that setav SETS it to that amount TEMPORARILY, while modav ADDS that amount to your character PERMANENTLY. So if you use setav you have to keep setting it after loading/dying/etc... but modav stays with you... Or like the OP said, you could just mod it so you get 25 pe lvl up of stamina or whatever... NephilimNexus
Also, you can do it without cheating (to a lesser extent). There are certain magic items (though rare) that increase carry wait, and you can break them down & remake them at the Arcane Enchanter like anything else. Works good with boots, not sure it it works on rings, though. Try making a full set of armor with carry boost enchantments and give them to your follower to really turn them into a pack mule. Or cheat. Whichever, but the above would also be plausible even for the Xbox version as well.
macole
I use a companion pack horse method to carry my stuff. She can carry a boat load, doesn't complain, she's good to look at and if I happen to become a vampire she serves up a good lunch. Not going to get married thoug, that changes everything. I hate leaving ANY loot behind, so I pushed my enchanting up right after my smithing....just so I could do these enchants. Now every single magic item or drop that passes my value scale can go to the vendors! The side bonus of this is that I must travel to several vendors to sell off all the loot...and at each one I check their inventory for any NEW enchants. I have built an impressive list of enchants available. And since my enchants and smithing are maxed through this cycle, I now have the best gear I can make(Dragon so far) and enchanted nicely as well.
