ivychan13 Posted August 16, 2016 Share Posted August 16, 2016 I am having issue downloading anything from nexus at all, I dont know if maybe its firefox and NMM dont like each other or what but i do the download with NMM and it pops up with an error And this is on new things as well, so hit the slightly more then a bit frustrated and dunno how to fix it, ive tried reinstalling, and ive been adding mods by manual for months and its just getting tiring now... JimmyRJump Posted August 16, 2016 Share Posted August 16, 2016 I've been using FireFox sinc somewhere in 2004 and there's a few sites FF has issues with for some reason, one of those is The Nexus. Couldn't even make an account here when using FF; always getting a loop when filling-out the form, being reverted back to square one. Had to make an account through Google Chrome and after having done so, I could finally use The Nexus with FF although both browsers use the exact same add-ons. Anyway, been using Chrome for The Nexus nevertheless. It's a fairly decent browser. Only thing that lacks in my opinion is a side-bar like FF has where all short-cuts can be stored. Google ostenstably refuses to add one despite the majority of users (judging by the demand on Chrome fora) asking for such a feature... Of course, all this doesn't explain why you all of a sudden can no longer use FF to download from the Nexus. I know that the admins are constantly struggling with near server overloads (that's why they're also feverishly working on an overhaul of The Nexus) so maybe FF has more trouble lately in reaching the Nexus servers than Chrome has...
