sierrabalaska
Hi all thanks for all the information here! I have a simple question- I just seem to be missing something easy. It has to do with setscale. About a quarter of the time it works just fine but most of the time I get the item to the size that looks good, but when I run towards it, I run into its original size bubble (?) and I can’t get near it, and my character ends up just running into the invisible wall around them item. Hopefully one of you knows what I’m talking about and can tell me what I’m missing. Thanks!

neurion19
I need help, if possible. Somehow, I accidentally deleted the exterior of the Honeyside building while getting rid of a poorly placed workbench. I can't figure out how to get it back, outside of loading a save that is extremely old (seven levels and several quests ago...) Thanks

Thanks Did you markfordelete it or disable? if you MFD'ed it your out of luck. Also, never go mucking around with console remodeling without making plenty of saves, which you should be doing normally anyway.

I've been making plenty of quicksaves, but unfortunately few hard saves the last few days. Neither quick nor auto saves seem to restore it. Oh well. Lesson learned. princeopeo
Had to say thanks for all that work putting together a list of codes it gave me the chance to make my house exactly how i wanted it. I wanted to ask a question and seek help for a minor problem i ran into. First i wanted to know if any changes you make to the exterior of your proudspire mansion will stay that way. For example i added a light in front of the basement door and a backyard. And i have a minor problem i was hoping someone might help me with. I have to run the game on the lowest settings because i am playing on my laptop until i can upgrade my pc. The problem i have is that my proudspire mansion shows no spider webs but i need to be able to see them all so i can delete them from my house. It is literally the only thing i need to do to complete my house. I was hoping someone could put together a simple batch file that i could run and remove the webs since i cannot click on them to do it myself. Thanks for any help. Garagorn888
Hi guys, I've been renovating pretty much all the default player houses. It's gone brilliantly so far as I've added at least one room or doubled the size of some rooms sucessfully. The strange I found with some of the houses is that I've found that the Housecarl rooms are often bigger or easier to expand than the player rooms. To solve this, I just swapped with the housecarl and moved the housecarl to a smaller room and moved my bedroom to where the housecarl's room was. In fact, I tripled the size of Honeyside's housecarl room, then converted it. That all went brilliantly. Now, there's just one problem: When I move the Housecarl bed or create a new bed, I use the 'setownership 'housecarlid' command. It worked the first time I used it. But for some reason, it's stopped working recently, and housecarls will never sleep. I have no idea why and was just wondering if anyone knew of a solution... Thanks,Jaz
gofer32
Princeopeo - a quick glance seems to show that there are a lot of those cobwebs... I don't have time to make you a bat file, but you could pretty easily make one yourself with this method: Get TESVSnip from Skyrim Nexus.Use it to open the Skyrim.esm file in your Skyrim Data folder. When prompted, don't apply filters. (EDIT - see below)Hit Ctrl-F and search for 0005D5D8. That's the first item in the Proudspire group. (Make sure you set the search to Form ID and that "Wrap around" is ticked.)Browse down the group, looking in the right hand panel for the NAME (Basic Object) record. Anything with "cobweb" in the Basic Object name is (I'm guessing) what you want to delete. Add the Form ID at the top of the record pane to your bat file, rinse and repeat... then run the bat file. Garagorn - the only thing I can think of is that you moved the bed outside the navmesh (the area that tells the AI where NPCs can move). Try moving the housecarl bed back to its original position and set ownership. If that works, it's most likely to be a navmesh problem, which can't be fixed until the CK lands. gofer32
princeopeo - one amendment to step 2: if the esm takes ages to load, or TESVSnip runs slowly, when it prompts you to apply filters when you first load the esm, click yes, and untick everything except STAT and MSTT. Also, you'll want to add the Form ID in red at the top of the record pane, not the Form ID in the Basic Object record. That part is important.
