Vindekarr
That's technologicaly impossible. I think I've re-iterated this about fifty times since Skyrim came out, but you can't make "a multiplayer mod" for the ES games. It's not a matter of clicking your fingers and magicaly having "a modder" run up to you with the finished mod five minutes later. No, it's 6+ months of hard slog and pure pain, takes a large mod team, and frankly very few indy guys even have the budget to contemplate such an undertaking. If you really think you can make a working ES multiplayer mod, go do it, but me, I'd expect real-world flying pigs and cows that go woof before a working ES multiplayer mod. Have you considered the STEAM ramifications? How Bethesda might react? have you thought about the nightmare you're going to meet that is synchronising two vast worldspaces? And what about the bugs? you'd literaly have to re-code about 90% of the game by hand, essentialy building a whole new engine from scratch, and that isn't something one guy can do. Let alone do to standards. And don't forget Bethesda, they may take legal action over such a project.
Maxs1l
I'm pretty sure that won't work. But GL anyways

Matth85
While you may still be right, it's obvious you didn't read his post. Did you try to read his post? I gave up after the fourth " <br>" bracket. He should get back to the post and try again, since this is a mess. So we just look at the title, which is another one of the "MULTIPLAYER ALL THE WAY!" topic, which is shown the door due to technological limits. The game engine is not made for a host/client gameplay. But if we look at his points: Porting the models to another engine, is against the rules if I am not wrong. It's a direct port away from the original.

kuro1n
I could believe in a multiplayer mod with various bugs if a serious modding team worked on it, but to essentially make a "mod" like this, no i dont think this is even remotely possible to do well, what happens if one person have a mod and the item gets transferred to the other? Broken savefile? Theres so many issues here.
Exodus1111
To ppl who apparently didnt get this. He is basicaly making ANOTHER game, in Unity3d, that will only consist of one arena, and have the ABILITY to load skyrim savegame files. Since its possible to extract character models and animations to programs like 3ds, it should technically be possible. But its a massive endavour, and i would not be surprised if this is the last we hear of this idea. -exo
