CTD When Loading Vanilla save with mods (first time) - PC

I really hope I can explain this properly!

 

I am having an issue where I Crash to Desktop when I try to load my Main save (currently unmodded) game with mods enabled.

 

In the pop up where is states: "Mods are currently loaded, no achievements blah blah blah" I select to load save anyway.

 

I hang out at the load screen for a hot minute and then crash to desktop.

 

For further reference:

-I can load the vanilla save with all mods disabled

-I can load a different modded save (it was a fresh start to test out some mods) with mods no problem

-I have verified the cache via steam

-i had originally made changes to the ini (mouse acceleration, etc) and have changed back to the default ini

 

I can post a load order list of my mods but since I am having no trouble loading an already modded save I am guessing the mods are not problem?

A "vanilla" save with mods is no longer a vanlla save. Or do you mean that the last save you made was an unmodded one and that you then added some mods and that now this save with added mods doesn't load?

The save is currently vanilla. Once loaded (which is where I get stuck) it would them become modded.

Well, then there's obviously a mod that clashes either with the game itself or with another mod...

Something to consider: when one of your mods happens to be the latest Unofficial FO4 Patch and you also happen to use LOOT to sort your load order, you'll have to manually relocate the Unofficial Patch underneath the DLC Workshop02 and Workshop03 as LOOT wrongly adds this Unofficial Patch above those...
