MarkForDelete I believe only removes the object for that gaming session.

we don't delete things here ,we alter their perspectives only. And the item in this thread in question is not visible in game anyway.

For anyone running into this issue still, my solution after enabling and disabling mods repeatedly was discovering that there was a combination of "AutoDoors" mod in tandem with other plugin mods that had a dependent addon patch was making some invisible button trigger that would normally not have an actual physical collision have collision. Disabling the AutoDoors mod and reinstalling any other mods that originally had dependencies on AutoDoors removed the fake collision field.

I'd rather open doors than run into a toe stubbing invisible force field.

I don't have this mod installed and still have that issue, my invisible forcefields are in very annoying places too, like on the sidewalk, in the middle of the road across my house, and behind 2 doors, one being my home, the other being a house left of it.

Same. Would love to find a fix.

EDIT: Removing Sim Settlements 2 fixed the issue for me.
