pra
Wanted to build a casino recently, with the gambling machines from vault-tec workshop. Placed the first one, and it suddenly attracted everyone in the settlement, including the two automatron robots. Seems like daddy needs a new pair of leg actuators. Moraelin
Well, locations renaming can also happen when someone with language X installed makes mods for language Y. E.g., someone with a French game installed makes English language mods. I may have *ahem* inadvertently changed a few places to German myself when making mods for FO3 and NV. Moraelin
Wanted to build a casino recently, with the gambling machines from vault-tec workshop. Placed the first one, and it suddenly attracted everyone in the settlement, including the two automatron robots. Seems like daddy needs a new pair of leg actuators. Heh. But yeah, the gambling machines, the soda machine, and the fitness stuff from VT Workshop override everyone to come use them. Guards leave their posts, vendors bugger off and leave the wares unattended, etc. You can still use it as a force for good, I suppose. Like I have two synth settlers from a mod, that actually detect other synts. So both Sanctuary and Vault 88 got one each as the bartender, and the local cantina has a soda bar and two slot machines. Looks like a plausible small pub, and EVERYONE in the village goes past the synth-detector daily. If I get an infiltrator, they're easy to find. TheGadget1945
I downloaded the HotMamaNPC Far Harbor mod not long after getting Far Harbor - it changes all settlers (male and female) into beautiful women. I was mildly surprised when I visited Daltons Farm to find the ripped guy with a beard and long hair had been changed into an Angelina Jolie lookalike. So recently I downloaded "Don't Call Me Settler". I went to Far Harbor and one of the babes offered to help me take out some Trappers.....her name was "John" !

Moraelin
Ada moonwalking. I head over to the caravan distress call, shoot all the mess of robots, notice Ada is sliding slowly backwards. I try to talk to her, she gets too far and complains that we weren't done yet. At some point she starts trying to walk back to the caravan position, but she's still sliding backwards, albeit a bit slower now. So, you know, moonwalking. Saving, exitting the game, and reloading fixed it, and she was able to walk back to where she should be.
TheGadget1945
In my current playthrough I haven't bothered finding all the Bobbleheads so I just carried the ones I had found then dumped them somewhere but forgot where. I decided to check which ones I had found so Agility was missing (ie I had already found it), I had Barter and Big Guns, the Charisma was missing...I gave up.I decided to play a bit of Fusion City and purely by accident I found a footlocker called "Suspicious Footlocker" - I opened it and checked the loot which included the Charisma Bobblehead :geek:I had never found the footlocker before so couldn't possibly have put it there ? Charisma is at Parsons. So if you haven't collected it it, how come it's suddenly in an entirely different location?

Because I had already collected it and dumped it somewhere but forgotten where I had dumped it. When I revisited Parsons it had gone but it turned up in an entirely different location. That was why it was so strange.
Moraelin
- A break-dancing Automatron in the Mechanist's lair. The thing someow got his head partially stuck in the ground when I shot it, and it was flailing around with his legs spread and turning around. You just had to see it. - Scribe Haylen giving me my first Quartermastery quest, off that supposed list of artifacts she has, to a location in Far Harbor. I'd like to add that at this point I hadn't been to Far Harbor. Hell, I hadn't even been to Diamond City. The Brotherhood doesn't even know about Far Harbor yet. And given that the location is not in MA, nor anywhere NEAR MA, in fact it's out of even vertibird range without extra fuel tanks... why is it on her list of artifacts to retrieve from MA?
