Vindekarr
If you're going to pick a house the one in Solitude is quite possibly the pick of Skyrim. It's three stories, two bedrooms, and beyond being large, very nicely appointed and in very nice condition, it's the only house I know of with the ability to provide all 3 workbenches. It comes with an enchanting table and an alchemy lab, aswell as an oven, but thanks to a little Russian mod that's probably the best mod ever, it can be fitted with a smithy aswell. Having a smithy downstairs, RIGHT NEXT to the enchanting altar, and shops to buy ingots, makes this place blacksmith heaven. With this together, it's a very very nice choice indeed.
