Yes, great game. Too bad it got too expensive to keep up with...

As for favorite card... too many choices. Call it a four way tie between lightning bolt, counterspell, swords to plowshares and empyrial armor.

counterspell, that reminds me, you cant get those anymore, not from a deck, booster, just from other players.

NOTE

for those in melbourne, in the city, at bourke st, not too far from flinders, theres a shop called dungeon of magic, they have almost every card in the entire set....except the alpha, beta revision things, unfortunantly, the store owner is a smart-arse.

yeah, it is really expensive... i play; my favorite cards would have to be Thorn Elemental, Phage the Untouchable, Last Stand, that one sliver that has: Whenever a Sliver deals combat damage to a creature, destroy that creature (at end of combat?); Wrath of God, and Plated Slagwurm.

I stopped buying after Stronghold.

Favorite card is Autumn Willow from homelands.

(2G 2C, 4/4, Legend, Cannot be the target of spells or effects, G: Target player may target Autum Willow with spells or effects until end of turn)

And Altar of Dementia from tempest still works very good (2C, Artifact, Sacrifice a creature: Target player puts a number of cards equal to that creature's power from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard)

And Diamond Valley from arabian nights (Land, Tap to sacrifice one of your creatures in exchange for a number of life points equal to its toughness)
