Xenno Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I was using chest on Northwind Summit since i was level 10, now im 53, my all finds where in that chest all the time , there was sick amount of ebony ingots, even some artifacts.... God knows how much weapons and armor... Every time all items were there, but now for some reason i lost 90% items from that chest and its LOCKED with adept level lock. Does anyone know how to fix this and is there a way to fix it , cuz i really dont wanna start new game :(. Did this happen to anyone? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Any chest thats not in your 'owned' area(house, or given to you by one of the factions) Will reset after a certain amount of game time. And at 53 your prob ok to restart if u wanted to/if u lost valuable unrecoverable items. Its pretty quick to level up to 50-55 or so, but it slows down a LOT after 60. sixcross Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Sorry to say that all your items have been lost. 99% of the chests in skyrim re-spawn their loot witch causes the chest to remove the current stash. If you wish to get some of your items back you can try using the console and going to the testing hall (coc qasmoke) and re-loot your items. Xenno Posted November 28, 2011 Author Share Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) NOOOOO ahhh man i was waiting to level up alchemy to 100 so i can enchant and make deadric armor, i had hearts over 20 ebony ingots everything , enchantments i think i will go crazy. But i dont understand WTF some my items are still in chest...even dragon masks... well new game i guess or uninstall ... Unfortunately it's a hard lesson you've had to learn for not storing it in a house you own...but there is a chance you could get a lot back with commands. Wolves425 Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) at least now you know not to keep all your items in 1 location + not to use chests that you down own. if you travel to all the major cities and check the blacksmith shop im sure you will end up being able to buy many bars of all sorts.and for enchanting all you need to do is smith 1 hand weapons in steel or iron ( you should be able to buy many ingots per blacksmith shop) and enchant them.the daedra hearts might be more difficult but not impossible to get back, or use the console to get them. for alchemy you can visit all the major alchemy shops and buy ingredients. if you buy all they have to offer im sure you can get a decent number of alchemy lvls.or you can do as Nate above me suggested. use the console to add items you need. Xenno Posted November 28, 2011 Author Share Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) Guys i tryed reloading older saves and i find save on same level (level 53) and i have all items back in chest... i guess im lucky like VERY VERY VERY lucky, now i only gotta kill that ugly dragon , and start moving items to Dark Br. Sanctuary ... Man i think i will need few hours to move all items, but who care i got all back , OMG im sooo happy now. Pushkatu Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 If you have the PC version, open the console with ~ key and type tgmIt will enable god mode and you can carry all the items in the world if you want to. Aikospacerogue Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 if I could advise anything then its to buy your own house and stock over there (whiterun is cheap and close to a smith), I personally don't trust any chest in the whole game thats not a playerhome.
