Mbg5150 Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 It doesn't seem to be downloading the mods I want through NMM. It can only work if I do it manually. I have downloaded mods before through NMM (around 20) But now when I try to download a mod, the background goes gray for a second, and a white loading box appears only momentarily, and no download.. JimmyRJump Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 (edited) Are you guys talking about NMM giving a "server unreachable" error? If so, then that has to do with the uploaded files still being scrutinised by the Nexus' virus scanner. As long as the files are being scanned the small icon to the right of Download with manager or download manually is greyed out and the file can only be installed manually... it's either the latter or you have to be patient and wait till the virus scan is done and the icon turns green. thomasrng85 Posted August 24, 2016 Share Posted August 24, 2016 What mine has been doing when it was working fine is when I go to use the download with manager button after I select it it has the animation icon that starts to spin like normal, then the screens would show up asking for a donation or where the download is coming from. When it was working fine, a second or two later my NMM icon in the bottom bar would start to flash, and it would show activity in the download manager section. Now when I do the exact same thing it has the loading animation icon starts to spin and then it disappears and nothing. No follow up screen with download information and no screen asking for money. The download section in the NMM is empty. Only way I can download and install them is to do a manual download then use the search file feature from NMM. Then after I select the correct file it loads itself into the mod panel, then it can be installed normally after that point. My assumption is once I use the download with manager button then NMM doesn't respond to it. previously even if NMM wasn't open then it would open itself when I used the download button. Now it does not open, also it does not work if it is already open and I am logged in. I checked the settings in NMM and it appears to be correct, not to mention I did not adjust them prior to it not working. Of course I am not very computer savvy anymore and could easily be wrong. It doesnt look like it is greyed out, looks green to me. The same thing is going on with skyrim mods as well, even ones that I have downloaded a year ago. I guess you mean that you've tried downloading the above example and it doesn't work... Since the ticked icon is indeed green, then there's something elso going on, of course.
