Similar to how one can remove the grass from Skyrim/Oblivion, I was curious if it were possible to remove the grass in this game. I can already run this game using the low-performance mod fairly well, however, there are a lot of "lag catchup" mechanics I experience where the game hiccups for a couple seconds fairly often (cpu not fast enough, most likely). I had a theory that removing grass from appearing would decrease what my computer has to procedurally generate, thus making it run smoother. Any ideas? xesued1 Posted August 28, 2016 Share Posted August 28, 2016 My experience with other games like Skyrim and such is that usually the grass doesn't really matter very much performance-wise, but i guess it would be worth a try. Personally i am very happy when i land on a planet the doesen't consist of a generic, slightly painted homogenic surface.
