RIPHarambe
So...I reinstalled Skyrim perhaps about 5 times over now, and I still get the same results. The textures won't load. It just won't. The vanilla game doesn't load the textures. It used to have literally no textures on the game, I could see purple human like figures walking around and can make out the buildings but that's it. Now it has some textures after downloading the official HD res texture pack... but not all of them. Can anyone help me fix this? Things I tried : Verify Integrity Cache (btw each time I do verify integrity cache, there always seem to be 1 missing file, literally every time. that normal?) This is VANILLA Skyrim, I have no mods installed whatsoever. Rig : GTX 1080 i7-6700k...Probably not VRAM failure. Kroekr
The 1 missing file is your video settings which it seems to delete each time you verify the cache. It will reset it the first time you run from Skyrim launcher.
Darkstyler35
Hello,I'd say you may have a VRAM problem and your specs try to compensate.Skyrim performance monitor.Good luck.

I have a good setup... a GTX 1080 should overkill vanilla Skyrim even at 1440p. These are probably just texture loading failures. RIPHarambe
I finally fixed it by deleting the Skyrim folder at Documents > My Games...after installing it freshly again. That makes no sense but still happy to see my Skyrim running without that horrid purple textures. Time to mod again!
Project579
It means that there where problems on the .ini files you probably touched something on the ini that broke the textures.
