@Patch 1.2

It seems that everyone is freaking out about this recent patch, and if these things had happened to me I would do the same thing. But for the people who haven't installed the patch yet, just back up the Data folder along with your save games and INI files and try the patch. If it doesn't work just be patient and wait for Bethesda to fix it, or play in offline mode.

Or you can do what I'm doing and shelving the game until the problem is fixed, I have homework to do and pleanty of other games to play. Bethesda isn't the monster everyone seems to make it out to be, it will (hopefully) be fixed soon.

I still have yet to actually play the game. It's installed on my computer, but since there are many mods that I would like to add that are on a holding pattern till the CK comes out, I have yet to step foot into the game.

So this patch will not affect me... lol.

although yr approach is very civil and level headed, i think u need to keep in mind that bethesda released the game on the 11th. telling hundreds (thousands?) of ppl to shelve a game for over two weeks because it will eventually get fixed is not fair or justifiable to all of them that spent their hard earned money on the game. voicing your concerns gives a small chance that it could be heard and taken into consideration. not saying anything on forums wont help bethesda fix the problems because they wouldnt have the thousands of free game testers to tell them whats wrong.

I did make a backup of everything this morning, prior to the patch, just to be safe. So far, after 3-4 hours of playing since the patch I haven't noticed any problems. In fact I've noticed improvement in Dwemer ruins, prior to the patch I would get mouse stuttering at times (not fps lag) which was quite annoying; after the patch that seems to be completely gone now. I fought a couple dragons and didn't have any trouble, fast traveled all over without any problems, was able to hit Esc to exit menus (which I could honestly care less about). My remapped keys still don't show up correctly in menus, but that was like that before and happens allot in games these days... not a real issue for me anyway.
