Adipose
Aaaarghhh!! Am I the only one who finds the constant NPC observation aboutdragon attacks to be ridiculous after a while...particularly after the town they'restanding in has just been hit and they're still talking about Kynesgrove!!?? Anyone know whether there's ever been a mod deal with that...to make thelocal npcs take the local attack into account?
Moksha8088
Must have been a slow news day. I know I heard rumors and songs many times at various inns, of a particular homicide, before being able to track down the source from the Whiterun Gazette. I guess people don't get out much anymore, what with the war and the dragon attacks. WHITERUN – At 9:15 PM at the Bannered Mare Inn in Whiterun, a prominent Rorikstead citizen was brutally murdered. Authorities have declared this to be a deliberate homicide by decapitation. Witnesses say that Mr. Ragnar became tipsy from all the mead he was drinking. Frequent bar patron Sam Guevenne said in his statement, “Mr. Ragnar appeared to be an alright guy. He bought a round for all in the house and then proceeded to regale us with the story of past battles and gold that he made. Everybody was digging on the guy, all except that wild lady Matilda. I saw her cut off his head. I needed several more flagons after that sight.” A local shield-maiden was taken into custody. While being arrested, Matilda kept babbling about "that red-headed guy drinking all the mead". The Innkeeper Hulda reported this claim was untrue, “There was plenty of mead to go around”. Matilda is expected to be brought before Jarl Balgruuf for arraignment on Tirdas.

But even if there is one (or someone makes one) I bet it has to be mostly subtitles like Arthmoor's "The Paarthurnax Dilemma" due to the lack of spoken lines in the game. Then again, maybe not. After all, it's just (mostly) wandering NPCs. As long as it isn't a regular NPC (with a known voice) then a mod author could get some folks to record lines for the mod. Ah well, so it goes.
Project579
Maybe if you install something like RDO they will not say it as often and their dialogues will be far better and more "intelligent".
HalloweenWeed
I suppose if you are bored, and have nothing to talk (complain) about this subject is as good as any. Personally I don't spend too much time in towns. I like that banter much better than remarks about fur coming out of my ears, or the dog-like smell, even though I completely cured Lycanthropy. strawbqwerty
even though I completely cured Lycanthropy.Ah yes, but it is the wolfish grin that you still have... Yeah some banter does get repetitive. I have noticed after installing RDO there is more verity now. Some of the more common ones are now more random.
