trancespotter
Having a backpack/satchel or some sort of storage should be required before being able to pick up non-weapon non-armor items. It's silly that my character can be completely naked yet still be able to carry 300 pounds of weight.

trancespotter
There is SkyRealism.I tried those but it's still not what I'm looking for. Those essentially just lowered my carry weight to 50 when naked and then increased it when I put on some armor. Being naked and having my carry weight at 50 still allowed me to carry a couple of swords, daggers, firewood, unequipped armor, and a lot of random trinkets despite not having anywhere to put them. That's not realistic. What i'm looking for (and have made through combining some mods and TES5Edits) is a mod that, even though my carry weight will still be at 50, will require me to have a backpack/bandolier in order to carry items that I don't have equipped. Another way to look at it is that the carry weight of 50 lbs is the potential amount of weight I can carry, but I need somewhere to put those 50 lbs of stuff. Wearing armor and sheathing weapons could have zero carry weight or a reduced carry weight similar to the Unhindered/Conditioning perk, so those could still count towards the 50. Or a mod that requires the player to have a bag to carry any non-equippable/non-wearable items.
