Stargazer09
Which requires a newer version of F4SE.Just a heads up.
snapper69
Yes, mine updated last night, at least this one didn't break my games/mods. I only use one mod that requires F4SE (Place Anywhere) and half the time that doesn't work, even when I boot from F4SE.
Stargazer09
That's cool. For me, I can't play until a newer version of F4SE is released. :(
Vormina
If you make a backup copy of FO4.exe each time it's updated and store it in a different folder, you can replace the newest version with the last working version and continue playing until other updates catch up. ;)

cossayos
For some reason this process always leaves me crashing to desktop while loading a save. Because they're usually not updating the exe but files depending on the exe too.

You have to use matching versions of FO4.exe with F4SE and Place Everywhere ( if you use that ) , if any of those 3 are using a version that doesn't correspond to the other 2 it will crash, other than that I've never had a problem rolling back my FO4.exe, been doing it all summer with Bethesda's many ninja updates. All match. Still crashes. I'll leave it as typical Bethesda fubar for now.
jjb54
I've been in the hospital since Last Thursday - Aug 25. I finally felt some what ' good ' and sat down to distract myself and I seriously thought all updates - FO Nuka-World and all would be done. I excepted to have to update FO-SE ... download and told basically out of date. :( So much for distraction and such. It's not SE's fault, I know it. Just not in a very good place, with having to spend over a week in the hospital for what was supposed to have been day surgery. Things .... " went wrong ". :p
