Mcatanio
Hello Nexus Community, I am very new to 3d Modeling and don't really understand much of the concepts with it at all but I learned the basics of Blender 2.6 to try and create a custom model for Skyrim for the the female models. I extracted the .nif fine I would assume because I was then able to open it in Nifskope and then extract it as an .obj to then open it in Blender and start doing the work. after I believe I have finished adding what I wanted to the model/mesh what ever you would like to call it I exported it as an .Obj and reopened it with Nifskope. I don't really understand the interface of Nifskope with the whole Branch stuff. I thought conceptually I would just be able to copy the BSDismemberSkinInstance, and BSLightingShaderProperty Branch's to my models NiTriShape Branch then add my NiTriShape Branch to the NiNode Branch finish the priority numbers then I would be all done. Now maybe I am not understanding the interface of the of Nifskope and how the copy and paste works but it is just not working. Maybe I made some mistakes during the modeling process I don't know and I don't understand 3D modeling terminology that well and now it applies to meshes and models so please bare with me. If anyone knows a good tutorial on how to do this, or can explain it better then the tutorial can it would be very helpful. Thank you ahead of time. Mcatanio
Well here is the file, maybe someone can take a look at it and try and get it to work see if I messed up on something ect, take in mind the mesh might not be the cleanest its the 2nd I've ever done. I'm trying to replace the femalebody_0 and femalebody_1 and possibly femalebodyastrid_0 and femalebodyastrid_1 with this model. Good chance I did something really wrong in the beginning and its unrepairable and I'll just have to scrap it ect.
