prolovegirl
I'm compulsive about my inventory and when I find I've accidentally picked up a random plate or linen wrapping I drop it. I happened to do this in one of the Mage College instructor's room. He said something along the lines of "Aren't people so rude to just leave their junk all over the ground." I felt bad. In Riften, I lay some stuff on the ground, for my companion to pick up. Before I could speak to her, an NPC came over, picked up one of them, and said "Excuse me, you left this behind! Here!" and gave it to me! I moved away from her, and tried again. This time a priestess came over and said "You dropped something. If it wasn't an accident, would you mind if I took it?" Of course, when she asked me so nicely, I couldn't say no! The Skyrim NPCs make the game pretty immersive! PLG

phaota
I lost Lydia once, figuring she died or fell into blue hell. So I consoled myself to her position, and low and behold I find myself locked up in Dragonsreach dungeon with Lydia. Thinking about why Lydia was in prison, I remember we had fought a dragon with a group of Whiterun guards the last time I saw her with me. I guess she must have swatted one of the guards and got arrested, but I was most surprised that the game allowed for something like that, still a bit skeptical on what happened. Your guess it correct in regards to why she was in prison with you. Lydia has a vengeful streak to her NPC personality. If another NPC hits her, she goes nuts and will not stop until they are dead. Watch this MediaCows Skyrim walkthrough segment of Lydia going crazy on Vilkas at the Companions training yard in Whiterun. It's hilarious. TKHawke
I wanted to clear my inventory but none of the shop owners had the money to buy my stuff anymore. Dropped all my extra weapons in the street. A child returned my daedric battle axe and 1 guard told me to not drop weapons around town because it's dangerous. Shortly after telling the guard w/e and not paying her bribe, two men fought over my orcish sword  I was always waiting to see people fight over a sword like I read in the skyrim info thread before the release
abaris
Yeah, they returned all these nice little features. It was all there in Morrowind, but absent in Oblivion. Kudos for that. That's why, despite all the flaws, I like Skyrim better than I liked Oblvion.

Roane
The bratty girl in Whiterun, who has followed me into my house to let me know she isn't afraid of me, finally got me to the breaking point. I showed her the firebreath shout, just off to the side of her. She didn't flinch. Just wanted to know how I did that.
NewmanLim
I stole a horse and when exploring some cave, "parked" my horse outside the cave when a troll came. Horse went to fight the troll, I went in the cave. Few hours in the cave I came out (back tracked out), the horse was gone so I figure it died during the fight. I fast travel to Morthal and the horse was beside me. This horse is by far the buggiest horse I came across so far and now it is my best companion, coz everytime I place it somewhere, the horse will eventually disappear or went fighting when enemy is round or somewhere near and will always appear when I fast travel. Even took down a bear by itself~
