AlmostBoring
I'm new to modding, like, really new, but I want to get into making my own mods to shape the way the game world feels. I've had fun building settlements but wanted to create a mod for a kitchen setup using the Pre War Sanctuary player houses prefabs. I tried some mods. like Modular Kitchen and other mods that increase the amount of craft-able objects, but most have too many items in them for my liking, and the Modular Kitchen mod makes all components containers which isn't something I particularly like. All mods are great and well made, but they just aren't what I'm looking for.I'd just like to know how I can turn a static item in the GECK into a place-able item at a workshop, if anyone could help I'd be greatly appreciative. shavkacagarikia
I think you should make a Constructible Object for the object you need to be placeable. You can find Constructible Object section under Items category in creation kit. Look for example: workshop_co_PlayerHouse_Ruin_Dresser and see how that works (it makes player dreser constructible object).
